From a modest beginning over fifty years ago, Saklou Company started in the distribution of Electronics and Home Appliances, and later began a variety of manufacturing its own brands and trading activities.

Saklou joined hands with “Sharp” Corporation over 35 years ago and became the sole Agent and Distributor in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saklou Company generously invested in “Sharp” brand, and with support from “Sharp” Japan became the market leader in a variety of categories in the Saudi market.

Sharp was the pioneer in developing many electrical products starting with producing the first Microwave Oven to the Japanese market in 1962, until reaching the innovation of the first LCD TV in 2001.

Let us not forget the environment friendly “Plasmacluster” technology, installed in the Air Conditioners, Refrigerators and Air Purifiers to protect the family from germs and flue addiction, as well as protecting the food from Bacteria and fungus in “Sharp” refrigerators.

With the market change, Japanese brands are no longer competitive hence Saklou company started dealing in many other well known brands and became the sole distributor for them. We can state “Candy” brand; an Italian Tycoon in washing machines and freezers, “Frigor” brand; a leading Danish company in manufacturing high quality freezers for commercial and home use, “Hisense” brand; a high-tech Chinese leader company manufacturing all kinds of Home Appliances.

In the early 90’s, Our Company created its own private brand name, “Sirgaso”, for electrical and home appliances, including air-conditioning. The products were imported under OEM basis from Korea, Italy, China, Jordan, Bahrain and Taiwan, or manufactured locally to meet the demand of the end user requirements.
